Hampton Inn & Suites Baton Rouge Downtown

This place is wonderful! Our room has a balcony over looking the river! The place is well lit, clean, warm & cozy feeling! Hospitality is great! Architecture of the building is beautiful! I love it!

There isnt anything negative i could possibly say about this hotel...Beautiful river view, excellent service from all staff day and night shift. Breakfast was well prepared..and overall the location is perfect. You can literally just start walking to anywhere you wanna go downtown.

I had a great stay here over the Thanksgiving holiday. The location was perfect and close to what I needed, parking was plentiful at any time of the day or night, even though it was $25 a day. There is a parking garage across the street for $15/day. The staff was amazing especially the lady working the breakfast area, she was so personable and sweet. The rooms could’ve been a tad bit cleaner but I know housekeeping can be overwhelmed at times. My only complaint is the water never got hot just warm, I like to take hot showers. I received a few text throughout my stay to check how things were going. In one of the text I asked for towels to be placed in my room because we were heading out, I was told housekeeping would put them in there but they did not. I just had to go down and get them, I would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay – Highly Recommend! Parking was super easy — I used the garage across the street, but there’s also parking up front. The hotel is currently being renovated, and our floor was fully updated. The rooms were comfortable, the beds were great, and the pricing was very reasonable. Plus, it’s in a convenient location with several good restaurants nearby. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!

I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn in Downtown Baton Rouge, and what truly stood out was the kindness of every single person on staff. From the front desk to housekeeping to maintenance, everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. One moment that meant a lot to us happened at breakfast. They had run out of muffins and the breakfast host noticed my daughter looking for one. She immediately grabbed some from the back and brought a muffin directly to our table. It was such a small but thoughtful gesture, and it really made her morning. I also can’t say enough about the front desk team. After we checked out, we realized we had accidentally left my daughter’s laptop and iPad in the room. We were understandably stressed, but the staff quickly located both items and made sure they were safe. Their responsiveness and honesty meant so much to us. I travel to Baton Rouge often, and after this experience, the Hampton Inn will absolutely be my go-to hotel every time. The people there truly make all the difference. I will be back for future Spanish town parades and any time I travel to BR.

Everything Good Just two minor inconveniences, No bacon was found on my 3 days stay during the breakfast hours, even though i asked for it everyday. And, parking fee being 25$ is highly overrated. Apart from that, everything good!

I arrived at Hampton Inn & Suites Baton Rouge Downtown around 6:30 PM, and unfortunately Hilton’s entire system was down. That meant no front desk check-in and no digital check-in through the app. However, Shayla and Ava at the front desk were absolutely amazing. They stayed calm, professional, and patient even while dealing with understandably upset guests. They did everything they could to help, and when it looked like the system might not come back up, they even started a manual check-in process to make sure everyone could get into a room instead of waiting indefinitely. Thankfully, the system came back up shortly after they began that process, and I was able to check in after about an hour and a half. They were also proactive about checking availability at a sister hotel just in case accommodations were needed. That level of care and initiative really stood out. Once I was checked in, my one-night stay went smoothly and was enjoyable. Big shoutout to Shayla and Ava for their patience, professionalism, and excellent customer service during a tough situation. Great job, ladies!

We were in Baton Rouge for the Louisiana Marathon. The location of this hotel was perfect. The hotel was cleaned and very nice. The only issue I had was that the ice machines in the floors didn't work. Breakfast was very good. The whole staff was very good. But specially the breakfast attendant Willamena . She was friendly,very helpful with the kids. She kept the place very clean and restocked with food. She made breakfast for 2 days a pleasant experience and almost stress free.
